Darand Williams
- Visionary
Darand, an entrepreneurial figure with over 30 years of experience in construction and development, played an instrumental role in forming the business. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on. During his career, Darand collaborated with corporate giants like Walt Disney World, Marriott, and Embassy Suites, as well as individual property owners. His relentless, “get-it-done” approach to work led to numerous successes.
Darand’s expertise extended across all aspects of development. From land clearing, civil engineering to permitting and construction, his hands-on approach consistently added value to each asset he worked on. By closely monitoring the ever-changing needs of each asset, Darand developed effective methods that allowed Exchange Place to identify future opportunities.
Sharon Williams

Sharon Williams possesses over 25 years of comprehensive experience in commercial real estate development and management throughout central and south Florida. The Williams family has established a distinguished reputation for quality in real estate, consistently enhancing the value of their projects. Sharon’s emphasis on well-positioned assets that are sought after in the market, highly regarded by investors, and beneficial to communities through vibrant commercial real estate, has proven to be a successful strategy.
At the heart of Sharon’s Exchange Place Development is a strong foundation in construction and development. From site selection and plat design to construction planning, business valuation, and market analysis, she has developed a keen understanding of project success and investor yield since her early adulthood. By managing raw land development and transforming assets across various sectors, including retail and industrial, Sharon’s enterprises realize the vision of stakeholders.
The Exchange Place brokerage firm that Sharon established combines a distinctive array of expertise for her clients, stemming from her extensive professional experience.
