JOB TITLE: Commercial Property Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Some Travel, Mostly Winter Garden

SUMMARY
The Commercial Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of commercial buildings and properties. This role ensures that all systems, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently, creating a safe and well-maintained environment for tenants and visitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Identify and fix minor plumbing leaks, electrical issues, door hardware problems, and other structural repairs.
- HVAC & Mechanical Systems: Assist in maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including filter replacements and basic troubleshooting.
- Property Upkeep: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of common areas, parking lots, walkways, and landscaping. Address issues such as graffiti, trash, and minor pest control.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including power outages, flooding, or urgent repair needs.
- Tenant Requests: Address maintenance-related tenant concerns efficiently while maintaining good tenant relations.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent costly repairs and downtime.
- Contractor Coordination: Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ensure work is completed to company standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow safety regulations, building codes, and company policies to maintain a secure and compliant facility.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification or trade school training preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in commercial property maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform manual labor as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This role requires working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergencies.
